This rural cemetery is located on the south side of Dierkes Road near Flat Branch Road. It was originally on the land of Adam Yingst, Sr., became a community cemetery, then was deeded to the Trustees of the Beaver Creek Baptist Church which was just east of this property and had another cemetery there. That church combined into the Carlyle Baptist Church and that church later disbanded. The cemetery was claimed by the Yingst Cemetery Association and is superbly maintained. Earlier records were destroyed, and like many other old cemeteries, many graves are unmarked now that the wooden crosses have deteriorated. Row A starts at the back of the cemetery, and Grave 1 starts on the north side, closest to the road. There are about 24 graves in each of the older rows, with only a little more than a third of the graves identified.

The history of this cemetery with a description along with measurements and placement of the stones are available from the Clinton County Historical Society in its Quarterly 2-3. A special thanks is given to Ralph Rainey who has maintained these records for years.
